Saint Martin's University, Spiritual Life Institute WWW site, viewed April 17, 2015 (HANNA TERVANOTKO is a specialist in the Old Testament, Ancient Judaism and the Dead Sea Scrolls. Born and raised in Vantaa, Finland, Tervanotko speaks eight modern languages and is fluent in another seven from the ancient world. Although she is currently working on several publication projects related to the Dead Sea Scrolls, (i.e., specifically the evolution of Jewish Sectarianism and divination practices in the ancient world), she recently completed a major research project that explored the biblical character of Miriam across a variety of ancient Jewish texts. Currently a visiting scholar in residence at Yale University, Tervanotko also holds Post Doctoral positions at the Catholic University of Leuven and University of Helsinki. Tervanotko earned a MTh and a PhD from the University of Helsinki in 2003 and 2013 respectively)
