He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (BA 1951), Garrett Theological Seminary (BD 1954), and did additional graduate work at the University of Wisconsin and Harvard University ... Dr. Kalas served for 38 years as a pastor in churches in Wisconsin and Ohio and then five years as an associate in evangelism with the World Methodist Council.
