Macauley Jr. is a professor of English at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he has been the University Writing Center director (2011-2015) and now serves as director of the Composition and Communication in the Disciplines Program. Macauley has been teaching for nearly 30 years and an administrator of writing programs and centers for nearly 25, has authored more than 20 professional publications ; Macauley completed his B.S. in English (Creative Writing and World Literature) at Grand Valley State University in Michigan in 1986, his M.
