"Arguments of the Dissenting Brethren against the subordination of standing synods, ...", "The ansvver of the Assembly of Divines, to the reasons of the Dissenting Brethren, against the proposition concerning the subordination of congregationall, classicall, provinciall, and nationall assemblies, for the government of the Church", and "Reasons of the Dissenting Brethren concerning the povver that is in congregations, ..." each have separate title page; pagination and register are continuous.

"Papers given in to the Honorable Committee of Lords and Commons and Assembly of Divines with the Commissioners of Scotland, for accommodation. 1644" has separate title page; pagination recommences on next leaf (4A1). Within this series, "The papers and answers of the Dissenting Brethren and the committee of the Assembly of Divines. ... for accommodation, ... 1645" has separate title page; pagination and register are continuous. All of these title pages are dated 1648.
